Driver in Auburn crash to be charged in death of 4 passengers

AUBURN, Wash. — A 38-year-old man will be formally charged with killing four people in an Auburn car crash Monday.

Nicholas Anderson is facing four counts of vehicular homicide.

The victims were riding in Anderson's car when he went off a road in Auburn in October.

A fifth passenger was seriously injured.

Police said Anderson was driving too fast and may have been drunk when he hit a tree.

He's being held on $750,000 bail.
