MCCLEARY, Wash. — The driver of a car was killed in a two-car crash between Elma and McCleary Monday afternoon.
The driver of the second car was also injured, as well as a passenger in the car in which the driver died.
The Washington State Patrol said both cars on State Route 8 hit with such impact that they both left the highway.
Video from Chopper 7 showed the car of the deceased driver down a ravine near Wildcat Creek.
Troopers said it is not known if the crash was head-on and said one car may have been trying to cross the highway at a cross street.
The two people who were injured were transported to Mark Reed Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
