BURIEN, Wash. — A driver suspected to be drunk plowed into another car in Burien Friday evening.
The innocent driver, in a Honda Civic, was killed and his vehicle was pushed into a building that hosts "A New Beginning," a 12 step alcohol recovery program.
The driver who caused the crash, in a Volkswagen Jetta, was rushed to a hospital.
"We believe alcohol is involved," said Eric Muller, a sergeant with the King County Sheriff's Office.
The crash led to the closure of Ambaum Boulevard Southwest for several hours.
It also damaged the building, which the owner said was built in the 1930s.
