SAMMAMISH, Wash. — Eastside Catholic High school will be closed Friday as a precautionary measure from Thursday's Skyline High School online mass shooting threat, which closed the school down for the day.
According to Eastside Catholic officials, the school was in lockdown for most of the day due to the threat.
The two schools are less than a mile apart.
Some students at Eastside Catholic left the school early.
Issaquah School District administrators plan to reopen Skyline Friday, but classes will resume at 9:55 a.m.
Police plan to remain on campus throughout the day.
