REDMOND, Wash. — A 48-year-old man is dead after a domestic violence shooting in Redmond.
Redmond officers were called to the scene in the 6200 block of 154th Avenue Northeast at 6 a.m. Thursday. Officers arrived to find the victim in the road with multiple gunshot wounds.
The victim died shortly after he arrived at Harborview.
A 33-year-old man, who is the victim's half-brother, was found inside the home and was taken into custody shortly after the shooting.
Police said there were three other adults in the home at the time the man was shot, but no one else was hurt.
The motive for the shooting is not yet known.
Police said nearby Benjamin Rush Elementary was placed on lockdown as a precaution.
