ISSAQUAH, Wash. — The Issaquah Police Department is promoting breast cancer awareness this month by wearing pink.
Officers have the option to have their regular Issaquah police uniform patches replaced with pink ones for the month of October. Some Issaquah officers are sewing them on for the rest of the department.
“So the patch looks like our regular uniform patch but the blue and black letters have been replaced by the color pink. We’ve put the breast cancer awareness ribbon on the bottom of the patch along with the year,“ said Issaquah police Sgt. Ryan Raulerson.
