REDMOND, Wash. — One person was killed in a wrong-way crash on westbound SR 520 in Redmond.
It happened at about 4 a.m. Monday just west of West Lake Sammamish Parkway.
Washington State Patrol said the driver was heading eastbound in the westbound lanes when they hit a United States Postal Service truck.
The wrong-way driver was killed. The driver of the mail truck was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
All westbound lanes were closed while troopers investigated. The lanes reopened shortly after 8 a.m.
