Fire forces evacuation of Edmonds QFC

EDMONDS, Wash. — A fire at an Edmonds QFC forced the store to evacuate.

Firefighters said when there was a power outage Monday night, the store's emergency generator kicked on and something nearby caught fire.

Employees were able to put the small fire out.

No one was hurt.

The store will open at 9 a.m. Tuesday as usual.
