20 displaced, 3 with minor injuries after apartment fire in Tacoma

TACOMA, Wash. — Crews battled a two-alarm apartment fire Monday night in Tacoma.

The fire happened at the Woodmark Apartments on 96th and Hosmer Street.

Fire officials tell KIRO 7 that 20 people have been displaced.

According to authorities, three people have minor injuries and are being treated for smoke inhalation. A 45-year-old woman was taken to the hospital after she jumped from the second floor. Officials say she is OK and is being checked for possible smoke inhalation.

Six units were damaged in the fire.
