Four arrested in Thurston County identity theft ring, burglary

OLYMPIA, Wash. — Thurston County detectives arrested four people in connection to an identity theft ring and a burglary Thursday.

During the early July burglary, guns and personal credit information were taken.

Detectives were able to identify two suspects from surveillance footage as they were using stolen credit cards and tracked them to the Courtside Apartments in Olympia.

The investigation resulted in a warrant to search the suspect's apartment and related properties.

During the search, detectives found two stolen guns and evidence related to several identity theft victims. One of the recovered firearms was linked to a crime that recently occurred in Tumwater.

Russell L. Denham, 30, Kayleen T. Gulden, 23, and Jason R. Petersen, 31, all of Olympia, were arrested on charges of residential burglary, auto theft, three counts of theft of a firearm and identity theft. Sara L. Livingston, 25, also of Olympia, was arrested on identity theft charges.

All four suspects were booked into the Thurston County Jail and are awaiting a court hearing.

Detectives ask anyone who has additional information about the suspects and the crimes they may have been involved with to contact Crimestoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or online at www.crimebusters.org.
