SEATTLE — An airlift was used to take a 7-year-old Maple Valley girl to Harborview Medical Center after she fell out of a window Saturday.
According to police, the girl fell out of a second-story window at Southeast 240th Street and 230th Avenue Southeast.
The girl did not have obvious broken bones or fractures, but was taken to the hospital as a precaution.
However, due to traffic and weekend highway closures, the girl had to be airlifted to Harborview Medical Center, police said.
This weekend, the Washington State Department of Transportation closed the northbound lanes of Interstate 405 through downtown Bellevue between Southeast Eighth Street and State Route 520, as well as both directions of SR 520 between I-405 and Montlake for weekend construction work.
