Governor Jay Inslee has appointed Roger Millar as acting Secretary of Transportation for the state DOT.
Roger Millar currently serves as the Deputy Secretary for the Wash. DOT and brings over 38 years of experience in transportation-related service.

Millar's appointment comes after the February firing of Secretary Lynn Peterson.
