OLYMPIA, Wash. — A South Sound gun range has set up shop inside an Olympia liquor store and the owners say it's actually safer than other gun ranges.
The Glacier Gun Club indoor shooting range is inside the T Brothers Liquor Lodge.
The shop enforces an eight-hour rule between drinking and shooting and the gun range is members-only.
Those who wish to join must pass an extensive background check.
Customers told the Olympian they feel much more at ease compared to other ranges.
“I went to another range in Pierce County. It was not as controlled or secure and I just felt like they let anybody in there," said member Holly Constantine.
The club lounge and gun range are separated by three quarter-inch steel, foam and soundproof drywall.
