House fire fills Seattle area with smoke, evacuates neighbors

A house fire sent heavy smoke into the air on Saturday evening. 

SEATTLE — Firefighters were battling a fully-involved house fire on Saturday evening -- at around 7:00 p.m.

The fire occurred on the 10600 block of 53rd Avenue South.

Firefighters evacuated a building to the west of the house fire.

All occupants were reported outside of the home, as of around 7:05 p.m.
Firefighters took a defensive position and were fighting the fire from the outside, according to the Seattle Fire Department's Twitter. 
The fire was under control as of 7:20 p.m., according to officials.
