Hundreds of customers affected by BECU outage

Boeing Employees’ Credit Union is actively working to restore service after it experienced an unexpected outage Sunday.

SEATTLE — Officials with the credit union said the outage affected their online, mobile and telephone banking services.

A few BECU customers have reported that debit cards were not working.

BECU officials said their online banking and ATM/debit card services were fully restored after 12:30 p.m. but their mobile telephone banking were still down.

Before 2 p.m. all BECU systems were fully restored.

BECU is a credit union originally established to serve employees of The Boeing Company. The credit union is based in Tukwila.
