SEATTLE — The Los Angeles Rams and the New England Patriots are set to play for the Lombardi trophy when Super Bowl LIII kicks off in Atlanta on Sunday at 3:30 p.m. on KIRO 7
Sunday’s Super Bowl marks the ninth appearance for the New England Patriots under quarterback Tom Brady and head coach Bill Belichick.
The Patriots finished the regular season with a (11-5) record and secured a Super Bowl appearance with a 41-28 victory at home over the Los Angeles Chargers and a 37-31 overtime victory on the road over the Kansas City Chiefs.
On the other side, the Rams are led by 24-year-old quarterback Jared Goff and 33-year-old head coach Sean McVay.
The Rams finished the regular season with a (13-3) record and secured a Super Bowl appearance with a 30-22 victory at home over the Dallas Cowboys and a 26-23 overtime victory on the road against the New Orleans Saints.
