$900k worth of meth, heroin and more seized from Bremerton home

BREMERTON, Wash. — A 45-year-old Bremerton man was taken into custody Wednesday after deputies seized $900k worth of  meth, heroin, cocaine and fentanyl from his home.

Officials with the Kitsap County Sheriff’s Office Special Investigations Unit and the West Sound Narcotics Enforcement Team served a search warrant on the man’s house – located in the 4000 block of Country Lane Northwest.

Detectives said they acted on information given by residents who were concerned about suspected drug activity in the area.

"Our investigators continue to work tirelessly to disrupt these drug trafficking organizations. This seizure will keep thousands of users quantities of narcotics from reaching our streets," Kitsap County Sheriff’s Office Lt. Jon VanGesen said in a news release.

In total, detectives said they seized more than nine pounds of methamphetamine, 13 pounds of black tar heroin, a half-pound of cocaine and suspected fentanyl pills.

Detectives also said they found three firearms and $20,000 in the house.

The estimated street value of the drugs is $900k, detectives said.

The man was booked into the Kitsap County Correctional Facility on suspicion of possession of  controlled substances with the intent to deliver.

"We are thankful for the courageous citizens willing to provide information to make a positive difference in our communities," VanGesen said.
