SEATTLE — Seattle police are investigating after a man was stabbed and killed in downtown Thursday.
Police said the stabbing happened at 6th Avenue and James Street, by an encampment.
Seattle police said they were dispatched to the encampment after several disturbances reported there.
The man stabbed was taken to Harborview Medical Center with critical injuries. Police said Thursday evening the man had died from his injuries.
Officers and SPD Homicide Unit detectives spoke with several people about a dispute that appeared to lead to the stabbing.
Police say they are still investigating and no arrests have been made.
