1 dead, 1 hurt in Beacon Hill shooting

SEATTLE — Seattle police are investigating a shooting where one person was killed and another person was hurt in north Beacon Hill.

Police were called around 2:30 a.m. Monday to a report of a man who was shot in a car in the 1900 block of South College Street.

Officers arrived to find two men with gunshot wounds. One had serious injuries and the other had non-life-threatening injuries.

Medics arrived and treated the man with the serious injuries, but he died at the scene.

The second victim was taken to Harborview Medical Center.

Crime scene Investigators are examining evidence left inside the victim’s car.

No suspect information has been released.
