SNOHOMISH COUNTY, Wash. — One person is dead after a two-car crash Saturday night on State Route 522 near Monroe.
A Washington State Patrol trooper said the driver of a Subaru Impreza, a 47-year-old woman, was headed westbound in the eastbound lanes and struck a Mazda at about 10:14 p.m.
The driver of the Subaru died at the scene, and three people inside the Mazda were taken to a Providence Hospital, authorities said. It is unknown their conditions.
Authorities are investigating to determine if the woman who died was driving under the influence.
