1 dead in north Seattle stabbing, police say

SEATTLE — Police are investigating a fatal stabbing Sunday evening in north Seattle.

First responders were called after 6 p.m. to a parking lot of a business located at North 117th Place and Aurora Avenue North.

Police said medics performed lifesaving measures on the man, but he died at the scene.

The assailant fled the scene, police said.

Police had closed the northbound lanes of Aurora for the investigation.
