SEATTLE — A 22-year-old woman who was shot and injured in the Beacon Hill neighborhood has died, Seattle police said Saturday.
The shooting happened before 7:30 p.m. Friday in the 5400 block of Beacon Avenue South.
When officers arrived at the scene, they found a woman with a gunshot wound.
She was taken to Harborview Medical Center in critical condition, Seattle fire said.
Police said officers arrested a 38-year-old man at the scene in connection with the shooting.
That man was later booked into the King County Jail for investigation of homicide, officials said.
The Seattle Police Department Homicide Unit is investigating.
