CLE ELUM, Wash. — Pasado’s Safe Haven on Thursday announced a $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of whoever shot a dog in Cle Elum on May 26.
Officials said the 4-year-old Siberian Husky named Ryder was shot in the back of his left thigh but survived.
The shooting happened near Wood Duck and Bullfrog roads, officials said.
The Cle Elum Police Department is investigating the case as first-degree animal cruelty, which is punishable by up to five years in prison and up to $10,000 in fines in Washington.
