The shooting happened just before 8:20 p.m. in a parking lot on 68th Avenue West.
When officers arrived, they found the 14-year-old dead and another boy who was hurt. That boy was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
In the new video, you can see two boys running northbound on 68th Avenue West and crossing 196th Street Southwest around 8:18 p.m., shortly before officers arrived at the parking lot.
The department is asking anyone who lives near that intersection to check their security footage from Tuesday night for any suspicious activity.
