SEATTLE — A 16-year-old boy was fatally shot Friday night at his home in the Rainier Beach neighborhood, Seattle police said.
Seattle police officers responded around 11 p.m. to the 9200 block of Waters Avenue South for reports of a shooting.
Witnesses told officers that the suspect knocked on the door of a house and the 16-year-old boy answered it.

The suspect then allegedly shot the boy several times at the door before fleeing, according to an SPD blotter post.
The victim was declared dead at the scene.
Seattle homicide detectives are investigating.
