DOUGLAS COUNTY, Wash. — The Washington State Patrol (WSP) says an 18-year-old man was killed in a rollover crash on State Route 97, about 16 miles south of Chelan.
A WSP report says he and four others were in an SUV running from law enforcement at around 4:30 a.m. on Saturday morning.
The 18-year-old driver reportedly lost control on a curve, causing the SUV to roll and become fully engulfed in flames.
Four other passengers were injured and brought to local hospitals.
