SEATTLE — Police are investigating an early morning homicide in Seattle’s Rainier Valley neighborhood.
According to Seattle police (SPD), around 2:42 a.m., 911 got a call about a crash at Martin Luther King Jr. Way S and S Graham Street.
When officers and Seattle Fire arrived, they found a vehicle that crashed over the curb. Inside were a man and woman who had been shot.
Despite life-saving efforts from medics, the woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
The man was taken to Harborview Medical Center in critical condition, where he later died from his injuries.
Detectives are still looking into what led up to the shooting.
No one is in custody. Detectives are not looking for any outstanding suspects at this time.
