PIERCE COUNTY, Wash. — Two people in their 20s were killed in a crash in Pierce County on Saturday, officials said.
The crash happened in the Artondale area near Gig Harbor, at 83rd Avenue NW and 40th Street NW.
Officials said the vehicle lost control and hit a guide line for a telephone pole. The car then hit two trees and came to rest 10 feet down an embankment, police said.
Two people in their 20s were killed in the crash.
