SPOKANE, Wash. — The Spokane County Fire District says crews rescued a 200-pound dog who got stuck in some mud on Friday and couldn’t get out on his own.

Rescuers freed him from the mud and used a soft stretcher to carry him out before he was reunited with his owner.

“The only thing Riley needed after that… a much-needed bath,” the agency wrote on Facebook.
