3-car crash shuts down WB I-90 at mid-span of floating bridge

KING COUNTY, Wash. — A three-car crash shut down all lanes of westbound Interstate 90 at the mid-span of the floating bridge.

Trooper said a driver tried to flee from the scene, but an Issaquah officer happened to be there and caught the driver.

The person was placed under arrest for driving under the influence.

No life-threatening injuries were reported.

It is not yet known what led to the crash.

Traffic was backed up all the way to the Mercer Island lid at one point.

The crash remains under investigation.
