CLALLAM COUNTY, Wash. — Three people were found dead early Thursday morning inside a house northeast of Sequim, authorities said.
Clallam County deputies were called about 12:15 a.m. to a report of a felony assault with a firearm in the 100 block of Sheldon Lane in an unincorporated part of the county.
Authorities said the person who called 911 reported at least two people had been shot and that seven people, including the suspect, were inside the house.
When deputies and Sequim officers arrived at the scene, they were able to get the remaining people inside to safety, investigators said.
After law enforcement officers attempted to negotiate with the suspect who didn’t respond, they entered the home and found three people dead.
Authorities later identified the victims as 34-year-old Samantha Faber and her 32-year-old brother James Faber Jr.; Jacob Hunter, 25, who is believed to be the shooter, was also found dead.
Investigators said Hunter was also living inside the home.
No motive has been released in the shooting.
