SEATTLE — Seattle police are investigating a hit-and-run crash that left a bicyclist in serious condition early Tuesday morning.
According to SPD, around 12:18 a.m., officers got a call about a hit-and-run near N 97th St and Aurora Ave. N in the Greenwood neighborhood. When police arrived, they found a 30-year-old bicyclist on the ground with serious injuries.
SPD said the man was riding south on Aurora when he was hit from behind by a gray colored sedan. The sedan continued to drive off.
Officers worked on the man until the fire department arrived to take him to Harborview Medical Center.
Seattle Fire told KIRO 7 that the man was taken to the hospital in critical condition. SPD is reporting that the man was in serious condition.
