BREMERTON, Wash. — Several people were arrested at a Bremerton home Wednesday afternoon after someone reported a car speeding.
Deputies said a person reported a car speeding and located a stolen car at a home in the 300 block of McWilliams Road.
A search warrant was obtained for the home and deputies found several people hiding inside.
The Bremerton Police Department’s K-9 unit helped with the search and found more people hiding in a crawl space.
Six men and two women, ranging between the ages of 25 to 44 years old, were arrested.
“There were various charges from obstructing, possession of a stolen vehicle to numerous warrants on these subjects,” deputies said.
There were several warrants for the people arrested. They included warrants for burglary, theft, driving with a suspended license, and drug paraphernalia from multiple agencies. Three people were wanted by Washington State Department of Corrections for escaping community custody.
