SEATTLE — The next time you fly Alaska Airlines, you could board a jet that has the image of Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson on it.
The airline unveiled the Wilson plane Wednesday and is holding a tailgate celebration Friday to kick off the football season.
The plane will also display Wilson’s tagline, “Dream Big. Fly High,” above the passenger entry door.
Fans who will be at Sea-Tac Airport C gates that day will be treated to tailgate food, a live DJ and a custom photo booth, airline officials said. Passengers boarding the Boeing 737-800 headed to Denver will find party favors waiting for them on their seats.

Alaska passengers who wear a Wilson jersey will also be granted early boarding on all Seattle departures throughout the football season, airline officials said.
Wilson has a multi-year partnership with Alaska and is said to help the airline support youth charities and education programs, including Seattle Children’s Hospital, where he visits patients during the season.
