The Alliance for Gun Responsibility gathered mass shooting and domestic surveillance survivors along with students at the state capital  today, calling for action to ban high capacity clips and so-called ghost guns untraceable weapons that are often home built, using individual parts.

“The only reason I’m able to be here today is because the mass shooter who tried to kill me and 20,000 other concert-goers had to stop and reload,” said Emily Cantrell who, along with the boyfriend she later married, survived the route 91 mass shooting in Las Vegas in October 2017, that left 58 dead and more than 800 people wounded.

The Alliance is calling on legislators to act on gun reform in the current session.
