Angel of the Winds Casino to be 100% smoke-free upon reopening

ARLINGTON — Angel of the Winds Casino said Wednesday that when they reopen to the public, it will be as a 100 percent smoke free facility.

The casino, located in Arlington, is currently slated to open back up to the public on May 4. However, casino officials said that date could change as new information in released.

“This is a bold statement showing we hold the health of our guests, Team Members, and community in high regard” general manager Travis O’Neil said in a news release.

The casino said going smoke-free is just one of the many precautions they will take upon reopening.

They said they will have additional sanitizer stations on the casino floor, will have larger walkways, and added acrylic barriers to allow for more distance between guests.

The casino also said its restaurants and bars will have reduced seating capacity to allow for a minimum of 6 feet between parties. Officials said the Riverside Buffet will remained closed.
