SEATTLE — Argosy Cruises said it is closing for the remainder of the 2020 season due to the uncertainty of COVID-19 and its impact on the tourism industry.
In a release, it said in part, “We have made the difficult decision to do a seasonal closure of our public tours and private charters.”
On Sunday, the company ended its Harbor Cruise and Evergreen Excursion tours.
However, Argosy plans to continue to operate its Blake Island Fast Ferry until Sept. 27.
Argosy said it plans to reopen in spring 2021 with a refreshed tour schedule and product offerings, but no date was given on when that would happen.
Its annual Christmas Ship Festival, which is operated as offseason cruises, will not run either.
The company said refunds will be offered to anyone who has booked a cruise with them.
