The Washington State Department of Agriculture announced Wednesday that officials had taken down an Asian Giant Hornet nest.
Officials did not say where the nest was located.
There have been two new confirmed sightings in the general area where nests had been eradicated in 2020 and 2021, the WSDA tweeted.
Officials said they were working to tag and track the hornets from this nest.
