The calf was born June 12, and is “healthy and growing fast.”

“He stays close to his mother, Connie,” officials wrote. “And will gain up to 3 pounds a day while nursing.”

You can vote in the survey at this link and choose between three names: Ash, Spruce and Douglas.

The vote is open through 11:45 p.m. on July 7. The organization will reveal the name on July 8.

The baby moose’s mother was named Connie after Northwest Trek’s park’s co-founder Connie Hellyer. The moose’s father was named Ellis after former longtime park Deputy Director Dave Ellis.

Connie and Ellis, the mother and father moose, arrived at the park as orphans in 2012.
