SEATTLE — A bank robbery suspect was taken into custody Friday night, Seattle police said.
Police did not immediately identify the 31-year-old suspect who was injured in what may have been an attempted robbery in the area of 2400 block of 34th Avenue South near a Safeway. Officers said they don’t know how the suspect was injured but he was taken to the hospital.
Seattle police spokesperson Detective Patrick Michaud said details will have to come from the FBI concerning the suspect.
The incident was initially reported as a collision involving a pedestrian and vehicle.
