Seattle police are searching for a suspect after they say he tried to rob a Baskin-Robbins on Rainier Avenue South.

On Nov. 25, two employees were working when the suspect walked into the shop.

The incident was caught on surveillance cameras.

When the suspect walked up to the counter, he grabbed one of the employees by her apron and held a knife up to her stomach while demanding cash from the register.

The other employee then opened the register, but as he did so, the suspect dropped his knife and started grabbing cash. That employee picked up the knife and swung it at the suspect, who backed off.

The suspect then turned back and jumped over the counter, and the employee who opened the register fought off the suspect, who then fled.

Police are still searching for the suspect.

Anyone with information is asked to call police.
