A 1930’s-era biplane crashed shortly after takeoff with five passengers on board at the Abbotsford International Airshow on Saturday afternoon. The crash took place shortly after the airshow ended. Abbotsford is located in British Columbia near the Canada-United States border.
The pilot and four adult passengers were all taken to the hospital, three with non-life-threatening injuries, one with serious injuries and one with critical injuries.
The crash is being investigated by the Transportation Safety Board of Canada.
