Blind Seattle-area cat a semifinalist for ‘America’s Favorite Pet’

Seattle-area cat Juno is a semifinalist for “America’s Favorite Pet.”

According to the website, Juno was once a stray kitten that lost her eyes after a severe infection.

KIRO 7 first reported on Juno back in 2018, when she was adopted.

Now she’s a sensation with almost 100,000 Instagram followers.

For the contest, there is one dog and one cat winner. Each winner will be on the cover of Dogster and Catster magazine and win $5,000.

The contest also benefits Project PAWS, where Juno was adopted from.
