OTIS, Ore. — After a 17-day search, the body of BNSF engineer Cameron Shelden has been found.

Shelden had been missing since Sept. 1 and was last seen visiting his girlfriend, Lisa Bagby, in Otis, Oregon. Bagby told investigators that Shelden walked away without his trucks, keys, cellphone and wallet.

After police conducted an extensive weekend search with cadaver dogs, Bagby called investigators yesterday to say she found Shelden's body on her property. A Lincoln County Sheriff's Office investigator told KIRO 7 they are waiting on forensic testing results and "aren't ruling anyone in or out as a suspect."
