Boeing seeking hundreds of applicants at job fairs

Boeing employment hopes took flight Thursday in Renton with the first of five job fairs as the aerospace giant begins seeking its next wave of manufacturing workers.

The company says its looking for graduates of community college and high school technical academic programs as well as recent military veterans.

Boeing is seeking applicants for open positions in non-management manufacturing fields with skills in construction, automotive mechanic/collision, electrical, precision machining, welding, aircraft mechanic, and other similar manufacturing programs.
