RENTON, Wash. — Several people are injured after a wrong-way crash on northbound Interstate 405 just north of State Route 167 in Renton.
The driver that caused the crash was traveling southbound in the northbound lanes of I-405 at around 2:15 a.m. Tuesday when the crash happened.
As of 3 a.m., three right lanes of NB I-405 remained blocked. Traffic is getting by in the far left lane.
Multiple lanes of NB I-405 were blocked for hours while the crash was investigated by Washington State Patrol. All lanes were open by 4:30 a.m.
WSP says the injuries in the crash are non-life threatening.
The driver who caused the crash is in custody on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
