MUKILTEO, Wash. — A suspect was not found after Mukilteo police and SWAT officers surrounded a home on 94th Street Southwest near 60th Avenue West.
Police say the standoff started after a woman was injured by a man in the home at about 10 p.m. Wednesday. She was taken to the hospital.
Officers believed a man was still inside the home. Flash-bangs were deployed in an effort to get him to come out.
Shortly after 7 a.m. Thursday, police said the man was not found. It is not known whether he was never inside the house or if he escaped while officers were at the scene.
The suspect is described as white, 20 years old, 6 feet 2 inches tall and 150 pounds. He was wearing a dark blue T-shirt and blue jeans.
