SEATTLE — Burglars rammed through the front door of a Greenwood pot shop that has been hit by criminals before.
In August 2016, the Greenwood location of the Have a Heart marijuana store was robbed when suspects barged into the store, tied up two employees and then emptied a safe.
In December, Have a Heart’s Bothell location was also targeted by burglars in the same manner of Friday morning’s break-in. In that incident, burglars also used a car as a battering ram get into the building. Arrests were made in that burglary.
After Friday morning’s burglary at about 3:15 a.m., workers are at the shop assessing the damage.
Surveillance video obtained by KIRO 7 shows four suspects, all clad in black and wearing hooded sweatshirts, running into the store. The suspects quickly load up bags of products and then run out of the shop. The burglary took about two minutes.
The men then fled in a Ford Taurus. The car likely has front-end damage.
KIRO 7 Reporter Patranya Bhoolsuwan will show you exclusive video of the damage as well as surveillance images of the suspects. >>http://kiro.tv/LiveNews
