Link Light Rail tracks and a busy road were blocked for hours by an injury crash in South Seattle.
A car slammed into a pole at about 4:45 a.m. at South Cloverdale Street.
Both directions of Martin Luther King Way Jr. were closed but reopened by 7:45 a.m. Link light rail trains were not operating in either direction between the Othello and Angle Lake stations.
Normal operations resumed shortly after 9 a.m.
The driver, a man in his 30s, had to be extricated from the car. He was not wearing a seatbelt and the car was nearly wrapped around the pole.
He was taken to Harborview Medical Center with serious injuries.
