Canlis is inviting you back to school this fall at the restaurant’s latest new idea - Canlis Community College.
The community college concept is the latest in a series of pivots from the iconic Seattle restaurant. So far in the pandemic, it has also had a drive-in movie theater and crab shack on site.
The college is a six-week series of virtual classes focusing on food and drinks plus other aspects of Seattle culture.
Classes, which cost $25, include Boxed Wine 101, dumpling making and intro to baking. Some of the classes have accompanying kits that you can purchase to cook or make cocktails alongside the instructors.
Canlis Community College will also offer socially-distanced intramural sports such as laser tag and some field trips.
